Lessons in the Journey

We stumble and fall, we get back on our feet,

The road isn’t perfect, but it’s where we meet.

Each twist and turn, each broken plan,

Is a chance to grow, to understand.

We’re students of life, not here to perfect,

But to learn and forgive what we neglect.

Mistakes don’t define us; they light the way,

A better self grows with each new day.

This is a journey, not a race,

It’s about the lessons we embrace.

Every trial, every test,

Helps us rise, brings out our best.

We’re all here learning, finding our place,

This is a journey, not a race.

When we demand too much, we push too far,

Expecting perfection from who we are.

But everyone’s learning, at their own speed,

Respect the timing that each soul needs.

The test may not be just to stand tall,

Sometimes it’s helping someone who falls.

We’re teachers and students, roles intertwine,

What others learn may strengthen mine.

The tasks undone, the plans that fail,

The endless striving, the wind in our sail.

What if it’s not about all that we do,

But the patience and grace that carry us through?

We’re not meant to master every goal,

But to find the strength inside our soul.

Life’s not a box to check off in time,

It’s a lesson in trust, yours and mine.

So take each step, don’t fear the climb,

Each fall’s a teacher, each wound heals with time.

We’re all here growing, learning with grace,

Life’s not a race—it’s a sacred space.
