This Moment’s Enough

We run so fast, chasing the prize,

A race that blinds our weary eyes.

The finish line, we think, will bring,

The joy we miss in everything.

The little moments, they slip away,

The laugh, the sunset, the words we don’t say.

We trade our peace for a fleeting goal,

But is this worth the weight on our soul?

This moment’s enough, just take it slow,

Breathe in the love, let the anger go.

What’s left undone will fade with time,

So don’t lose today for a dream down the line.

Live for the now, don’t make it so tough,

This moment’s enough, this moment’s enough.

We wait for apologies, hearts on hold,

But silence grows when pride takes control.

A grudge can harden and weigh us down,

While life keeps spinning all around.

Kindness doesn’t need a stage,

True love won’t wait for a perfect page.

Give from the heart, not to be seen,

The purest gift is the one unseen.

The heaviest weight is the one we choose,

The battle we fight, the time we lose.

But every day’s a chance to be,

To let go of the pain and set yourself free.

Don’t wait for someday to find your peace,

The here and now is where it’s released.

The road will go on, the race will still run,

But life’s not a finish, it’s never done.

So stop, look around, feel life’s gentle touch,

This moment’s enough, this moment’s enough.
